Yoga can be prac­ticed by any­body, regard­less of age, gen­der or lev­el of fit­ness. It is a ques­tion of your per­son­al com­mit­ment and dis­ci­pline. We prac­tice Yoga in dif­fer­ent ways but all aspects. We so source our teach­ings from our teach­ers and Gurus from the Sivanan­da and Krish­na­machara lin­eage, our own prac­tice and focussed self-study and study of self.

Asana classes at our Studio

We offer sev­er­al lev­el Hatha Yoga class­es prac­tic­ing Asanas (pos­es) in a step-by-step sequen­tial, sta­t­ic way, hold­ing the pos­es and work­ing on align­ment. We also offer more dynam­ic Vinyasa class­es with more rapid tran­si­tions and more gyn­m­nas­ti­cal moves. For light­ness and added flex­i­bil­i­ty in pos­tures we offer Aer­i­al Yoga, and for good align­ment and open­ing we offer Iyengar/chair yoga. Breath­ing, relax­ation and chant­i­ng is an essen­tial aspect of all of our class­es.

  • Yin Yoga

    Yin Yoga takes you to the slow, deep moon side of Yoga. Lean­ing on Tra­di­tion­al Chi­nese Med­i­cine and work­ing with our deep tis­sue, we release, open and med­i­tate in long held pos­tures (3-7 min).  The class­es are chal­leng­ing, yet peace­ful, slow, yet intense. Good for par­tic­i­pants with Yoga expe­ri­ence, also good for Ath­letes who seek some deep stretch­ing. Begin­ners: check with the teach­ers first.

  • Beginners course

    Every month, we offer a Begin­ners course to new­com­ers to Yoga. A teacher will guide you through four weeks of a struc­tured course, in which you can learn all the foun­da­tions of Yoga. It is rec­om­mend­ed for par­tic­i­pants to attend all four of these class­es; You can prac­tice Yoga I simul­ta­ne­ous­ly. You will learn some basic chant­i­ng, breath­ing prac­tice, sun salu­ta­tions and the Asanas. This is open to all lev­els, and gives space for ded­i­cat­ed learn­ing and ques­tions, if need­ed.

  • Open class

    An Open class is a class that caters to all Yoga prac­ti­tion­ers, except total begin­ners. In the prac­tice, we offer dif­fer­ent options in prac­tic­ing Asanas. We also offer option­al inver­sions such as head­stand. Its a class where you can deep­en  and grow your Yoga prac­tice.

  • Sivananda Class

    A Sivanan­da class, named after the Guru of the Yoga lin­eage, con­sist of a fixed set of Asanas prac­ticed in a cer­tain order, using paus­es between class­es. The class­es con­tains chant­i­ng, breath­ing and ded­i­cates it dif­fer­ent themes in Yoga phi­los­o­phy. Typ­i­cal­ly this class is taught by a teacher who has been trained in the Sivanan­da tra­di­tion.

  • Aerial Dance

    You want to move, explore and have fund with some Aer­i­al dance moves. Ready to go a step fur­ther in the Aer­i­al prac­tice? Inver­sions, Dance moves, and dynam­ic move­ments with music, guar­an­teed fun! Must have attend­ed at least 5 Aer­i­al class­es, no Begin­ners. Wear T-shirt cov­er­ing armpits, and socks to this prac­tice.

  • Aerial Relax

    Float, above the ground, stretch slow­ly and deeply, close your eyes and let go in this restora­tive class that uses the Aer­i­al ham­mock as its main instru­ment. Per­fect for stressed out and tired minds and bod­ies, nice way to log out and come back reen­er­gised.

  • Aerial Flow

    This Aer­i­al class, open to all allows easy and flow­ing move­ment between pos­tures, with the Aer­i­al Ham­mock, which makes the prac­tice light and fun, whilst using the lib­er­ty the move in ways we might not be used too ! Great class for tired artic­u­la­tions ! Please wear T-shirt cov­er­ing armpits and socks for this class.

  • Chair Yoga

    With chair Yoga we work on focused align­ment of the Yoga pos­tures, allow­ing cer­tain pos­es the be held longer, some stretch­es to be deep­er. Even though some pos­tures, even advanced once are eas­i­er, one can devel­op addi­tion­al body aware­ness. We also offer pri­vate chair Yoga class­es to per­sons with lim­it­ed mobil­i­ty and offer these class­es in Eldery Homes.

  • Hatha Yoga Flow (en Francais)

    Ce cours se base sur les pos­tures tra­di­tion­nelles du Hatha Yoga liées entre elles par des mou­ve­ments lents et flu­ides, per­me­t­tant ain­si une meilleure con­nex­ion au moment présent. Tu auras donc le temps de bien t’in­staller et de t’align­er dans les dif­férentes asanas, de les ressen­tir et d’ex­plor­er leurs effets sur ton corps et ton men­tal en gar­dant une douce dynamique tout au long de la séance.
    Le cours est générale­ment accom­pa­g­nés par une sélec­tion musi­cale exclu­sive et soigneuse­ment adap­tée à la séquence pro­posée.


  • Restorative Yoga

    Restora­tive Yoga is a pas­sive heal­ing Yoga where we prac­tice with the inten­tion to access a deep calm state. This Yoga is espe­cial­ly for those who are in phys­i­cal or psy­cho­log­i­cal pain and sim­ply need to enter into a body med­i­ta­tion that allows it to restore its nat­ur­al lev­els of ener­gy. We prac­tice slow­ly, with closed eyes, on the floor, hold­ing pos­tures with props for 5-10 Min­utes.


Other Activities

  • Meditation

    Med­i­ta­tion is at the core of the prac­tice of Yoga. It is to attain the knowl­edge of your Self. It is through its prac­tice that can lib­er­ate your­self from your men­tal attach­ments, trav­el­ling to your divine core, to attain a bliss­ful state of peace.
    Med­i­ta­tion can­not be taught, but we can pro­vide guid­ance, to assist begin­ners, and to cre­ate joint ener­gy with­in the group, which can be a won­der­ful expe­ri­ence.  We close most class­es with medi­a­tion or deep relax­ation. We offer reg­u­lar Medi­a­tion ses­sions on Sun­days.


  • Pranayama (Extension of Breath)

    We con­trol our mind and body through our ener­gy that comes from our breath­ing. This ener­gy is called prana. Through breath­ing prac­tice - pranaya­ma -  we intend to regain phys­i­cal and men­tal bal­ance. Clean our our lungs & cre­ate focus, bal­ance and ener­gy between body and mind. In our fast paced world, many of us have for­got­ten deep and nat­ur­al breath­ing, thus increas­ing lev­els of stress hor­mones in the body, and deplet­ing it of ener­gy. Through con­scious breath­ing we come back to our Core bal­ance. Pranaya­ma is thus an essen­tial part of our prac­tice and is also taught in work­shops.


  • Satsang (the company of the highest truth)

    We reg­u­lar­ly meet as truth seek­ers and con­vene to medi­ate, dis­cuss and explore togeth­er truth. This involves read­ing from the scrip­tures and ques­tions and answers of how to inte­grate the lessons into your dai­ly life.

  • Yoga Retreats

    Sev­er­al times a year we offer spe­cial Yoga retreats in select­ed loca­tions. Every year we trav­el to India, go Yoga sail­ing to Greece, prac­tice inten­sive­ly in Mal­lor­ca, or retreat for our TTC in Italy twice a year, amongst oth­er. The pur­pose of these jour­neys is to allow the indi­vid­ual to recon­nect, find his/her sources, and through the prac­tice of Yoga find enjoy­ment and har­mo­ny.   • Teacher training

    For those who would like to take their prac­tice of Yoga fur­ther, we offer a spe­cial teacher train­ing course of 260 hours ded­i­cat­ed to focussed study of Yoga for teach­ing, includ­ing anato­my class­es, the phi­los­o­phy of Yoga, San­skrit, Chant­i­ng, and teach­ing meth­ods.   • Karma Yoga

    Our Yoga is a prac­tice that is inher­ent in all of our actions, we don’t seek prof­it beyond what we need, and we give as much self­less ser­vice as much as we can. All of our stu­dents are encour­aged to give with­out expect­ing fruit for their action. You are wel­come to ask whether you want to per­form kar­ma yoga in our stu­dio, in exchange for reduc­tion or free class­es. That means help­ing with the recep­tion, main­te­nance, com­mu­ni­ca­tion or apply­ing any tal­ent that you have for the good of the com­mu­ni­ty .

  • Chanting

    Chant­i­ng is a lib­er­at­ing, heal­ing and mood ele­vat­ing prac­tice and thus an inte­gral part of our Yoga. Our body is made up of water and the vibra­tions that chant­i­ng emit into our body has a direct impact on your psy­cho­log­i­cal and psy­chi­cal health. We chant san­skrit mantras due to their spe­cial effect to the psy­chi­cal body, but also oth­ers. We chant mantras in our Yoga class­es and offer voice train­ing work­shop.
